Waiting…
WAITING. IT’S PART OF LIFE.
Some of us wait for that pregnancy test result. Three minutes. How many lines? Then when it’s positive, we wait many weeks and months to see that baby. Those in the last trimester right now probably feel pretty anxious —not just for the arrival of the child, but what is here when the baby arrives.
Pandemic. Quarantine. These are not words a pregnant mom or new mom wants to hear. The rest of us don’t like it either. But we wait. We wait for this virus to pass, for schools and businesses to reopen. And some of you wait to hold your precious baby whether any of this happens soon or not. And maybe this has nothing to do with pregnancy for you. You just hope it ends.
Here’s the thing. God has this. He knows the baby in your womb. And He knows you—baby or not. He has a plan for you. Jeremiah 29:11 “for I know the plans I have for you says the Lord. Plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” Wait for it. All good things come to those who wait, right? Use this time to dig deep and think of all God has done for you so far…. maybe your life isn’t where you want it to be, but I’m sure you have come through things you are glad are in the past. The future is bright beyond here. Wait for Him. He’s going to see you through.

If you take a pregnancy test early, there may not be enough hCG present and you may get a false negative. Try to wait at least one day after the first day of your missed period.
Limited Ultrasound
A fetal ultrasound is a procedure done during pregnancy that reveals an image of the pregnancy in the uterus. It’s a safe way to check the health of a potential pregnancy. The ultrasound may be done either on the woman or patient's abdomen (trans-abdominal) or in the vagina (trans-vaginal).
